Why sustainable paper is important
The simple fact is, there is not enough recycled fiber to meet society’s paper needs; two thirds must come from forests. Environmental certification
We were the first paper merchant in North America to achieve Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) Chain of Custody (CoC) Certification in 2003. We have since added Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) Certification and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) Certification to achieve Tri-Certification.

And we’ve created a comprehensive Environmental Report Card for all products, specifying which environmental criteria they meet—from FSC to Green-e to Green Seal.
